‘Wrista’ releases ‘Stay Please’ that will touch you with it’s melodic and heartfelt Hip-Hop Vibe – Vinema UK
Wrista, a Hip Hop artist from a small Island called Bahrain, located in the Middle East, releases a beautiful, picturesque track that will literally gravitate and transcend you into a different dimension. ‘Stay Please’ is built upon broken affection, misplaced love and human tendencies to seek affection even if it can be damaging and painful.
Piano based hip hop beats and velvety female vocals on the song lay the groundwork, only to be accompanied and followed by Wrista’s deep vocals that truly provide that rugged, yet smooth flare to the song. Inspired by hurt, Wrista takes elements from his life and incorporates it into a musical masterpiece.
A call & response outlook is the theme of the song, by which the female expresses her strength as a woman and her ability to be independent, whilst still clinging on to her broken relationship, seeking the flame to be rekindled yet again.
Stay Please, the second official track from Wrista’s upcoming album ‘Diverse Thoughts’ is only one of the fine pieces of work Wrista has released as a music video. The visual accompaniment is just as stunning as the song. Hip clothing and vibrant colors are the main components of the video, which are supported by smooth transitions and creative cinematic approaches towards the song.
Wrista believes that true music derives from personal experience and is making waves with his music, waves that are yet to be discovered. Being in a country that consists of roughly a million people, making it as an artist would appear to be easy. However, authentic and genuine music doesn’t get the hype it deserves where Wrista currently resides.
The authenticity behind his music however, is recognizable by anyone who appreciates good music.
Check out this fine piece of work, you won’t be disappointed.

From tragedy, there often comes something beautiful and uplifting. It’s definitely the case of young pop musician Jillian Ferrara.
Coming off from a life of bullying and struggle, as well as dealing with abandonment and an array of mental health issues, the talented Ferrara found her solace in the arts world and decided to pursue a lifelong passion for songwriting and music.
Her latest single, entitled “Full Circle”, explores precisely this story of growing through pain and finding yourself when the whole world seems to be against you, hence the name of the song.
‘You can’t bring me down,
I’ve been down and out’
Ferrara’s pleasant, flowing voice sends out a reassuring message that there is good, even in the worst times. This is very well captured by a scene in the accompanying music video, where the grown-up Ferrara, exasperated, locks herself in a bathroom and runs her hands over her face. Brought down by the constant abuse from her peers, she glances in the mirror and sees herself as a small child, standing behind her and reminding the singer of the years of suffering she’s endured.
In the end, this vision helps Ferrara emerge stronger and more composed, for her younger self’s sake.
But let’s go beyond the powerful message of the song and the great lyrical flow, for a moment.
https://youtu.be/PjgsPYGv9J8
The melody itself transcends any one particular genre, classifying itself most likely as pop, though not being limited to that genre. Bearing an almost esoteric feel, “Full Circle”s melody is happy and uplifting and paired with the tasteful dancing of the girls in the video (among which, Ferrara herself) it doesn’t fail to inspire the listener to dance, too. That being said, it’s a great track for the clubs.
The song mixes Ferrara’s seductive voice with almost aggressive beats, referencing both her rich cultural influence (from Shirley Temple to Madonna) as well as her extensive preparation as a modern dancer.
Fresh from the release of her debut EP, called ‘Intimacy’, featuring the hit track “The Worst Way”, Ferrara gives no indication of stopping or tiring of music and her young, but prosperous career, promises to blossom immensely in the next few years, under the guidance of Beat Author Records.
Let’s face it – we all love music that tells a story, but at the same time sounds really great. Whether it’s a smooth-flowing love song, a growing up story or indeed, a heavier subject, it fills you with the most incredible feeling, when told right.
One such song is Nomina’s brand new single “Fetish Daddy”, a mesmerizing track that almost forces you to sit still and pay attention. Zimbabwe-born and now residing in Germany, Nomina is the ambassador for the “United Nation World Peace Berlin”, and as such, she’s a young woman on a mission.
“Fetish Daddy” has remarkably upbeat vibes and an easy-flowing melody, almost deceivingly so, for in truth, it deals with one of the most serious and upsetting issue of our world – that of sexual abuse, something that millions of girls face today. The music video, in particular, illustrates this really well. It tells the story of a man who objectifies the women around them, treating them as little more than sexual playthings. It also tells the story of a young woman, presumably his lover, who gets tired of his sexist attitude and breaks free from him, understanding her own worth.
With its’ catchy, easy rhythm, “Fetish Daddy” is a most empowering tune. It guides listeners towards peace and breaking free, while at the same time bringing joy to their souls. What I love about this, both the song and the accompanying video, is that it’s obvious they are born out of great passion and desire to make something beautiful, but also meaningful, perhaps to help someone who is in a bad place right now.
To me, that’s equally important in the making of a great artist, not just talent. And it seems Nomina has it all – looks, a smooth, mesmerizing voice, ample talent, as well as great vision and a good heart.
But then, Nomina was never one for ‘easy’ pop songs. Having finished a business studies degree, she turned her attention towards her true passion – music, and conquered the hearts of millions of listeners with hits like “Mamaland” and “Don’t Cry Africa”.
And now, she’s putting the finishing touches on her debut album, which I must say I definitely look forward to, as this young woman has great potential in the music business, in my opinion.

From the first few beats, QüeDavinciYO’s “Yes I do” gives you the feel of one of those old school Hip Hop tracks, reminiscent of street music’s golden era. As one of the young ladies that appear in the music video for QüeDavinciYO’s dope new track says, we’re looking at some of Brooklyn’s finest here.
https://youtu.be/7aEkPgz2EXI
The song is repetitive, in nature, which makes it catchy and easy to listen to. Although I first listened to it while working, I got the feel of a good driving song. You know, something to listen to on the radio and just drive, perhaps with no real destination in mind. It’s catchy not just for the easily memorable lyrics, but also for the way it makes you feel good about yourself. As one can guess from the title, “Yes I do” is a very positive tune. By constantly chanting “yes I do”, QüeDavinciYO manages to get you feeling better about yourself, even when you’re not all that happy.
Getting back to the video, I think it’s perfect for the song. Combining random shots of crews of young people just hanging out on the streets with images of QüeDavinciYO singing on the hood of a car at night, it offers the viewer the ideal insight into the neighborhood, which is important, because these are the people and this is the place (presumably) that inspired QüeDavinciYO to write this song. It’s undoubtedly the mood of his day-to-day and by seeing it, we can better appreciate the song.
“Yes I do” is about affirmative action, it’s about believing in yourself, a trait many young people lack these days, which makes it that much more necessary. By seeing all those different people, we’re reminded that everyone goes through both good and bad times, both smiles and sadness, and through it all, we must keen believing in ourselves.
Having grown up in a tough neighborhood and seen all the grit that life has to offer has obviously made QüeDavinciYO a stronger man and we can hope to hear many more great songs for him in the future, because although he is extremely young, he demonstrates immense potential.
