Music Video Marketplace is preparing a Kickstarter campaign aimed at widening access to professional music videos for independent musicians. The initiative will offer discounted video acquisition, allowing artists to license or lease cinematic content at reduced entry cost.
The platform already enables musicians to upload songs and preview finished videos matched to genre, mood, and tempo. Each video is pre-produced—filmed, edited, and graded—allowing artists to deploy visuals immediately rather than commissioning shoots.
Founder Loraa White developed the concept after years in music-video production revealed recurring barriers of cost and logistics for emerging artists. The marketplace model converts video production into an accessible library resource.
Content is sourced from filmmakers worldwide, providing varied visual environments without travel or crew assembly. Artists can license footage exclusively or lease it for campaign use, testing markets before committing to bespoke production.
The Kickstarter campaign aligns with broader platform development, including a forthcoming mobile app enabling artists to integrate self-recorded performance footage into licensed videos. White’s approach has earned Ulster Tatler’s 2025 Businesswoman of the Year recognition and Women in Tech Awards finalist status.
As independent creators seek affordable visual storytelling, Music Video Marketplace’s funding push signals growing demand for platform-based video access.
